Providing attentive, personalized medical care for adults with a focus on long-term wellness, preventive treatment, and lasting physician-patient relationships.
A Tradition of Dedicated Care
In our practice, every patient receives personal, detailed and comprehensive medical attention. Dr. Theodore brings more than four decades of experience in internal medicine, adult primary care and extensive experience as a geriatrician for the care of elderly patients.
Our practice also provides medical care for young adults age 16 and older, focusing on both preventive health and the treatment of ongoing and complex medical needs.
Since 1979, Dr. Margaret Theodore has built a long-standing presence in the Tampa community, caring for generations of families through every stage of adult life.
Years of Experience
Our Medical Services
The practice provides a full range of adult care, including:
Primary Care
Acute care, preventive and maintenance care and chronic disease management for all age groups from young adults forward.
Internal Medicine
Chronic disease management with individualized treatment plans.
Geriatrician
Dr. Theodore’s approach to geriatric care is deeply personal, combining diagnosis and treatment with family involvement, when appropriate, and active participation in providing guidance and collaborative support to the patients and their families in order to achieve custom arrangements for their quality of life and end of life services on an individual basis.
Telehealth Appointments
Telehealth is available for appropriate urgent or semi-urgent care which does not require in-office
visit. This option is especially useful for patients managing chronic conditions, reviewing test
results, or needing brief consultations without an in-office visit.
Telehealth is available for follow-up appointments that do not require physical presence at the
doctor’s office. Telehealth is available for established patients at the doctor’s discretion, and
after hours, when absolutely necessary.
Telehealth can be available, at the doctor’s discretion, under certain circumstances for new
patients who require immediate attention when in-office visit appointments cannot be scheduled
straightaway and if there is any pressing medical need pending an in-office visit.
Patient Spotlight
Merral and Dr. Theodore
Merral Frost was my patient for 50 years. She lived until just shy of her 101st birthday. I remember her with love, gratitude, and deep respect.
In Memory of Merral
I remember her with love, gratitude, and deep respect. She was a source of strength, wisdom, and kindness, and her presence was always an encouraging force in my life. I felt honored when she carefully researched physicians and selected me as someone she believed would listen to her concerns with compassion. It was a privilege to provide her with attentive, dedicated care, and I found great fulfillment in supporting her health and well-being throughout her journey. Caring for her was deeply rewarding.
Though her passing leaves an emptiness that can never truly be filled, her love remains with me in countless ways. I am grateful for every moment, every conversation, and every expression of her love. She never missed an opportunity to send a card or flowers or make a telephone call, with sincere wishes for every birthday, anniversary or birth of a child.
While I miss her deeply, I find comfort in knowing that her influence continues through the lives she touched and the family she cherished and shared with me.
